An LCD(Liquid Crystal Display) is provided to form at least one capacitor to a surplus space of a lower substrate and to electrically connect the capacitor with circuit elements of a PCB(Printed Circuit Board), thereby reducing the fabrication cost and the area of the PCB. A liquid crystal layer is injected between a lower substrate(102) and an upper substrate(104). An integrated circuit(106) is mounted on the lower substrate. A PCB(130) is electrically connected with the integrated circuit via the first pads(108). At least one capacitors(120) are formed on a surplus space of the lower substrate. The second pads(116) electrically connect the capacitors with the PCB. Plural TFT(Thin Film Transistor)s are formed on the lower substrate and the capacitors are formed when forming the TFTs. The capacitor includes a gate metal formed on the lower substrate. The first insulating layer is formed on the gate metal. A source/drain metal is formed on the first insulating layer. The capacitors are electrically connected with the circuit components mounted on the PCB via the second pads. |
