The socket has a base housing, an attachment housing and a connector unit with a connecting terminal and a plug pin. A light conductive plate (10) is connected between the attachment housing and the base housing and is composed of a light conductive material. The plate has small thickness compared to width that exceeds a width of the attachment housing. The plate has recesses (12, 13), where a light source is attached to the recesses to stop light in an inner of the plate and allow the light into edges of the plate.
