REMOTE FLOWMETER SUPPORT APPARATUS

A remote flow meter supporting apparatus is provided to enhance efficiency of a measurement process by measuring a flow rate of a flow meter at a remote place. A photographing unit(110) photographs an instrument board of a flow meter. An image processing unit(140) processes photographed information of the photographing unit as images. A character recognition unit(150) recognizes figure information from the processed images. A data generation unit(160) detects a flow rate from the figure information of the character recognition unit and generates digital data. A transceiver unit(170) transmits the digital data of the data generation unit and an identification code to a remote place. A control unit(180) controls the transmission of the digital data corresponding to the flow rate according to a constant period or a request of a remote computer.
