Also, provided are a medicine and a food each containing the composition. [Means to Solve Object] The composition for body fat reduction comprises (A) astaxanthin and (B) at least one of active ingredient, an adsorbent and a solubilizer, a composition comprises (A) Haetmatococcus alga extract containing astaxanthin and (B) at least one of active ingredient, an adsorbent and a solubilizer, and a medicine and food, each containing the composition are provided.
