[Also in Division B2] Edible powder products produced by the process and apparatus of Specification 1,164,462, and comprising a mixture including fat and oil, may also be produced by pre-treating the mixture at a temperature of 10‹ to 15‹ C. above the melting point thereof in a mixer 14 to produce a pre-crystalline structure and then spraying the mixture, from a nozzle 15 containing a rotary fluted cone 16, into an enclosed space 5 wherein the relative humidity is maintained at 0-20%. Dry air may be provided in counterflow to the spray discharge within space 5. |
