<p>The integrated test unit (110) has a photodetector unit (116), and an indicator substance (136) provided on an application side (114). An organic electroluminescent unit (126) is formed such that an incitation light emitted from the electroluminescent unit partly reaches the indicator substance. The indicator substance is formed for changing an optical characteristic e.g. emission characteristic such as fluorescence characteristic, when the indicator substance comes into contact with an analyte e.g. glucose. An independent claim is also included for a method for producing an integrated test unit.</p>
