A bridge bearing is provided to reduce the thickness than that of conventional one by using a polyurethane pad instead of rubber. A bridge bearing comprises a groove member(210), a polyurethane pad(250), and an insert member(280). The groove member is installed at an upper structure or a lower structure. A pad receiving groove(216) having an opening is formed at the groove member. The opening part of the pad receiving groove towards the upper or the lower structure. The polyurethane pad is received in the pad receiving groove. The polyurethane pad has a hollow space at least a part of the pad receiving groove. The hollow space can be filled with a moving portion when the thickness of polyurethane pad decreases as applied pressure increases. The insert member is inserted to the pad receiving groove through the opening and limiting horizontal movement. The insert member has a projection unit capable of being tilted in the pad receiving groove, and is installed at the upper or the lower structure.
