PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal-tone synthetic resin ring which has a metallic appearance, which has the edge formed sharply, which is pleasing in appearance because the ring-shaped top face presents a complete flat when looked at, which has no eject pin marks, and in which, in the case of backlighting, the light emitted along the center of the ring-shaped top face is so devised as to produce no shade and emit light as if drawing a perfect circle. SOLUTION: The metal-tone synthetic resin ring comprises a transmissive ring 3 obtained by forming a synthetic resin sheet, which has a metal thin film that is transmissive and can be illuminated, into a shape of a gate in the cross-section and a ring, and a transparent resin ring 4 obtained by injection-molding a transparent resin into a ring shape by a side gate method. The transparent resin ring is installed in contact with the center of the inside top face of the transmissive ring, and, on both sides of the transparent resin ring, opaque resin portions 5, 5 are formed so as to come into contact with the inside top face of the transmissive ring. The metal-tone synthetic resin ring has, in the lower part of the transparent resin ring, between the opaque resin portions of both sides, a shape by the mold core 25 that has been used for positioning the transparent resin ring, as an internal space.
