Integrated payment system and method

The payment preference information for payment requesting sources of different types such as consumer service provider (CSP) and bill service provider (BSP), is stored in a profile database. The payment instructions are generated from the payment request received from the payment requesting sources and payment preference information, and are sent to the payment processor. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) automated payment settlement system; (2) computer program for settling payment; (3) computer readable medium storing program for settling payment; (4) computer; and (5) profile database.
