<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve a deteriorated production yield of a light emitting device since in order to realize a desired intermediate color in the emitting device for emitting an intermediate color in combination with fluorescent particles and dye particles in a light emitting element, it is extremely difficult to optimally regulate factors such as a light emitting wavelength, a quantity of the fluorescent particles, a quantity of a coloring agent and the like of the emitting element. <P>SOLUTION: A method for manufacturing the light emitting device comprises the steps of forming a light emitting device blank obtained by sealing the light emitting element with a resin containing the fluorescent particles, measuring a light emission of the blank, and coating a dye paint according to the measured value, thereby matching to a desired intermediate color. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO |
