<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a document data generating method for generating a document file including a plurality of pages from an input image, that can reduce the processing time and prevent image quality from being deteriorated. <P>SOLUTION: The document data generating method includes: a step S100 of generating header information; a step S102 of writing a document header to a document file; a step S110 of copying an input image to the document file; a step S120 of deciding an image position and a reference range referenced by each page and on which area of a page the image is to be placed; a step S124 of generating each of page data on the basis of page information denoting the reference range or the like; and a step S132 of writing the information of the entire document to the document file. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO |
