<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information recording method in which an overwrite property, especially, an archival overwrite property in which the information is overwritten after a medium is stored for a fixed time in a high temperature environment is good in high speed recording, and to provide an information recording medium and an information recording device. <P>SOLUTION: In an information recording method, a random pattern is overwritten with the light of scheduled recording power and various erasing power, the random pattern is reproduced, the minimum value Pb1 and the maximum value Pb2 of the erasing power when reproduction jitter erases the pattern exceeding the prescribed threshold value are obtained, optimum erasing power Pb is obtained from the minimum value PB1, the maximum value Pb2, and relational expression expressed by Pb=α×Pb1+(1-α)×Pb2, and information is recorded using obtained optimum erasing power Pb.
