An improvement to two-phase flow-turbines

A two-phase flow turbine comprises a turbine within a box and has frictionless magnetic bearings 5 and an adjustable heat input 17 for energising the turbine's working fluids. The working fluids may be an ideal gas such as argon and a liquid such as water. The turbine may be a closed system with a vacuum pump 14, which reduces the pressure within the turbine container to the working fluid's boiling point. Heat may be supplied by a heat exchange 17 r. The turbine may comprise a reaction jet turbine 8, an impulse turbine 10 and a Kaplan type reaction turbine 13.
