The chair, which can be converted into a bed, has an extension (5) with the seat upholstery (6) which can be pulled out of the frame (1). It is supported by the chair legs (7) at one end and by the frame at the other end. The guide rails (8a,8b) give additional support, fixed in place by pins (10) in drillings (11). One guide section can swing upwards on a hinge (9).
