A rotary water gate is provided to prevent foreign materials from being introduced between the water gate and a bottom of a water path by rotatably installing filter plates around the water gate and allowing the filter plates to be inclined in the drainage direction. A rotary water gate comprises a water path(11), a water gate(30), a supporting structure(10), and foreign material filter plates(40,50,60,70). The filter plates are rotatably placed in the vicinity of a water storage space of the water path to pass the water and block foreign materials. The water storage space is formed by the supporting structure and the water gate. Ends of the filter plates are continuously inclined in a drainage direction to contact the water gate. |
