<p>A method for analyzing a concentration of boron contained in silicone is provided to be applicable to amorphous silicone as well as wafer-typed silicone and to easily analyze the concentration of a trace amount of boron in the silicone with higher accuracy. A method for analyzing a concentration of boron contained in silicone comprises the steps of: adding a complexing agent which binds to boron to form a complex, into a solution for decomposing the silicone; decomposing the silicone with the decomposing solution to which the complexing agent is added so as to remove the silicone; and quantitatively analyzing the concentration of the boron with the remaining solution after removal of the decomposed silicone. In the method, the complexing agent is any one selected from sugar alcohols including mannitol, sorbitol, maltitol, inositol, dulcitol and erythritol.</p> |
