[Also in Divisions B3 and F1] A plurality of poppet valves 25A, 26A, 27A each has an associated rocker 32 pivotable to open the valve against the action of a return spring 37 when rollers 30 mounted on the end of piston rod 24 are moved into engagement therewith by pressurization of the full area side of its piston. The rollers 30 are mounted on a link 28 pivoted to the end of the piston rod 24 so that when the piston is returned by pressure fluid continuously supplied to the annular side of the piston the link pivots in a clock-wise direction and does not operate the valves. The rockers 32 are secured to shafts 33, Fig. 6 (not shown) having heads (40) accessible by opening a door (41) to allow a key to be inserted in recesses therein for manually operating the valves. To prevent actuation of the valves by the piston rod 24 during manual operation, a valve in the supply line to the piston may be closed by the opening movement of the door (41).</p> |
