The apparatus for liquid treatment is designed as the body (8) and the casing (14) of the filtering apparatus having an oval section and joint together. The body (8) consists of the container (1) for the material with properties allowing liquid treatment, close to which the channel (2) for liquid distribution is situated whereas the casing (14) consists of the filter pack (15). The container (1) for the material with properties allowing liquid treatment consists of the chamber (6) and the bottom (7). The channel (2) is formed by the system of the cylindrical surfaces (9, 10) being closed on the top and in the upper wall (5) of the distribution channel(2) outlets (4) are situated. The inlet (3) is made in the side wall of the body (8). In the container (1) the ceramic material with properties allowing liquid treatment made of a monolithic solid having a shape close to a cylinder is placed.
