A polarizing film with a PET(Poly-Ethylene Terephthalate) polarizer protection layer and a picture display device using the same are provided to enhance adhesive strength by using a polarizer, a polarizer protection layer, a transparent polymer resin, and a metallic chelate complex. A polarizing film includes a polarizer(10), a polarizer protection layer(20), and an adhesive(40) for attaching the polarizer and the polarizer protection layer with each other. The polarizer protection layer includes at least one layer which is formed with a transparent resin film. The transparent resin film includes poly-ethylene terephthalate. The content of the poly-ethylene terephthalate corresponds to 50 to 98 weight percent when the content of the transparent resin film corresponds to 100 weight percent. The adhesive includes a transparent polymer resin and a metallic chelate complex.
