A thermostat apparatus is provided to reduce the amplitude of a temperature sensitive operation unit by setting a gap between an extension portion extended from the lower side of the temperature sensitive operation unit and a guide ring. A thermostat apparatus includes a housing body(32), a cover(34), a low temperature cooling liquid port(46), a high temperature cooling liquid port(40), a cooling liquid discharge port(42), and a temperature sensitive operation unit(38). The thermostat apparatus includes a rectifying tube(58) and a guide ring(54). The rectifying tube is communicated with the high temperature cooling liquid port and surrounds a portion of the temperature sensitive operation unit to allow high temperature cooling liquid to contact the temperature sensitive operation unit accurately. The guide ring is disposed on the inner side of the rectifying tube. The extension portion of the temperature sensitive operation unit is inserted into the guide ring. |
