A plasma display panel is provided to improve crosstalk by forming a plurality of barrier ribs in a lateral direction as well as in a longitudinal direction. A plurality of lateral barrier ribs(11) are formed on an upper substrate(10). A plurality of sustain electrodes are formed on the upper substrate and are extended to a side of the lateral barrier ribs. An upper dielectric layer(14) is formed to cover the sustain electrodes. A lower substrate(20) is disposed opposite to the upper substrate. The lower substrate includes a lower dielectric layer(22) for covering address electrodes(21). A plurality of longitudinal barrier ribs(23) are formed at an upper part of the lower substrate. The longitudinal barrier ribs are coupled with the lateral barrier ribs in order to define a plurality of discharge cells. |
