A liquid spherical waterproof composition for concrete, and a method for preparing the composition are provided to improve the strength and corrosion resistance of concrete, to reduce the water absorption of concrete and to prevent the generation of dust in case of mixing. A liquid spherical waterproof composition for concrete comprises 10-15 parts by weight of a high molecular weight fatty acid; 1.5-5 parts by weight of a metal hydroxide; 1-2.5 parts by weight of an alcoholamine; 1-3 parts by weight of a quaternary ammonium salt; 8-15 parts by weight of silica; 1-5 parts by weight of a superplasticizer; and 50-85 parts by weight of water. Preferably the high molecular weight fatty acid is at least one selected from palmitic acid, oleic acid, stearic acid, linolenic acid, linoleic acid and their mixture; and the alcoholamine is at least one selected from trimethanolamine, triethanolamine, tripropanolamine, tributanolamine and their mixture.
