The conductive liquid-crystal material comprises a liquid-crystal composition comprising two or more ingredients having a smetic phase as a liquid-crystal phase, and is characterized in that one or more of the ingredients each is selected from distyryl derivatives represented by the following general formula (1) and the liquid-crystal composition comes into a solid state formed by a phase transition from the smetic phase.
