A printhead integrated circuit is provided (74). The printhead integrated circuit (74) comprises: (a) a plurality of nozzles (801) formed on a front side of a substrate, each nozzle having a respective nozzle inlet (73); and (b) a plurality of ink supply channels (67). Each ink supply channel (67) is configured for supplying ink from a backside of the substrate to a corresponding group of nozzle inlets (73). Further, each ink supply channel (67) is dimensioned for receiving ink from one or more outlets (27) in a moulded ink manifold. Relatively wide ink supply channels (67) allow the printhead integrated circuit (74) to be directly bonded to a moulded ink manifold, facilitating alignment and avoiding leaks.
