A method for manufacturing a cylinder type screen device is provided to economically manufacture the screen device, and improve the precision and the durability of the screen device. A bent bar holder(1) is formed, wherein the bent bar holder has a smaller curvature radius than a finished screen device. Edge open type recesses are formed on an outer circumference of the bent bar holder, wherein the recesses have complementary shapes with lower ends of profile bars(2). The profile bars are inserted into the recesses in parallel with one another. Rings are formed from the bar holder having the profile bars. The curvature radius of the bar bolder is enlarged through formation, thereby narrowing the recesses and clamping the profile bars. Bending forces required for formation are transferred at least two locations on a surface of the bar holder, in which the recesses are not provided. Both joint ends of the bar holder are eternally connected to each other after formation.
