A treadmill for correcting manner of walking and a control method thereof are provided to be manufactured at a low cost, and to decide whether the loads of both feet of a user are symmetrical. A treadmill for correcting manner of walking includes a track belt(111), a first load sensor, a second load sensor, and a correction signal output device. The first load sensor is installed on one side of the track belt to measure the load of a walker on the track belt. The second load sensor is installed on the other side of the track belt to measure the load of a walker on the track belt. The correction signal output device outputs a correction signal when the load value measured on one side of the track belt is larger than the load value measured on the other side of the track belt by more than a predetermined figure.
