Disclosed is the use of phenoxazine derivatives, phenothiazine derivatives, phenothiazine-S oxide or phenothiazine-S,S dioxide derivatives as emitter substances or hole and exciton blockers in organic light-emitting diodes. The invention further relates to an organic light-emitting diode comprising a light-emitting layer that contains at least one phenoxazine derivative, phenothiazine derivative, phenothiazine-S oxide or phenothiazine-S,S dioxide derivative as an emitter substance, as well as a light-emitting layer which contains or is composed of said phenoxazine derivative, phenothiazine derivative, phenothiazine-S oxide or phenothiazine-S,S dioxide derivative as an emitter substance, a hole and exciton blocking layer that contains or is composed of said phenoxazine derivative, phenothiazine derivative, phenothiazine-S oxide or phenothiazine-S,S dioxide derivative, as well as a device comprising an inventive organic light-emitting diode. The invention finally relates to special phenothiazine-S,S dioxide derivatives, phenothiazine-S oxide derivatives, and phenothiazine derivatives, a method for the production thereof, and the use thereof in organic light-emitting diodes. |
