A diagnosis information providing device for a construction machine and diagnosis information displaying system capable of detecting abnormality in advance to suppress a down period of the construction machine. The diagnosis information providing device has a sensor (40) etc. and a controller (2). The sensor (40) etc. detect state quantities relating to operating conditions of a hydraulic shovel (1) or environments surrounding the shovel. The controller (2) stores combinations of snapshot items and a state quantity previously made to be associated with each of the items, obtains or extracts a state quantity, associated by the combination according to a snapshot item selected by a selection command by an operator, from a detection signal from the sensor (40) etc. and displays the result on a display device (50), makes comparison between a calculated value obtained from each of the state quantities or from plural state quantities and a corresponding predetermined standard value range, determines that, when the state quantity or the calculated value is outside the predetermined standard value range, a corresponding portion has a failure, and displays on the display device (50) the determined failure portion or the state quantity relating to the failure portion.
