The invention relates to a dishwashing machine (1) equipped with a washing compartment (2) and with devices for washing dishes using a washing solution as well as with a sorption drying device (21), which is connected to the washing compartment in an air-conducting manner via an outlet (5) of the washing compartment and via an inlet (8) of the washing compartment and which comprises a sorption column (10) containing reversibly dehydratable material, the outlet of the washing compartment being connected to the sorption drying device via an air duct (17). In order to obtain an optimized sorption drying device, the air duct is provided, at least in part, in the form of a condensing surface (18).
