<p>An adaptive channel predicting device in accordance with downlink channel variation for uplink pre-equalization in an OFDM(Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing)/TDD(Time Division Duplexing) type mobile communication system and a method therefor are provided to apply an adaptive channel predicting method according to channel variation when uplink channel pre-equalization is conducted, thereby avoiding unnecessary channel predicting calculation. N(natural number) Doppler frequency ranges in accordance with downlink channel variation degrees and channel predicting methods individually corresponding to the N Doppler frequency ranges are set. Doppler frequencies are measured from signals received through downlink channels(400). A Doppler frequency range for including the measured Doppler frequencies among the N Doppler frequency ranges is confirmed, and a channel predicting method set by corresponding to the confirmed Doppler frequencies is selected(402-416). Uplink channels are previously equalized by using the selected channel predicting method.</p> |
