METHOD FOR SURGICAL TREATMENT OF OROANTRAL ANASTOMOSES AFTER TEETH EXTRACTION

A method for surgical treatment of oroantral anastomoses after teeth extraction comprises multilayer overlapping of the connection between the antrum of Highmore and the oral cavity using local tissues at the site of anastomosis itself. The part of overlapping structure is detached and transferred to the antrum of Highmore at the level of its mucosa. In such a way, the first layer is tailored. Thesecond layer representing PRP membrane prepared from platelet gel of the blood after centrifugation is applied beneath the first layer. The third layer inserted into the bone canal of the oroantral anastomosis is prepared from Osteoplast material mixed with blood plasma of the patient after centrifugation. The osseous plastic mass of the fourth layer is applied as PRP membrane on the side of the oral cavity. The fifth layer representing mucosal periosteal flap supported by feeding peduncle is fixed by polyamide stitches. The flap is tailored in the palate over the area of the oroantral anastomosis.
