A rotor combustion engine with alternating rotation of rotors has body with inner combustion chamber in cylindrical form, two independent end rotors with drive pinions rigidly fixed on those, with even number of symmetrically placed working partitions on each, output shaft with rigidly fixed driven half-pinions, inlet and outlet windows provided in the body. For transfer of torque from rotors to output shaft one uses two gear pairs in which at drive pinions rigidly fixed to rotors in opposite in diameter positions cuts are provided with radius equal to outer radii of pinions. On driven pinions cutting of teeth is provided not at whole length of circle and in such way that at rotation not cut surface of driven half-pinion goes to cut of driven pinions, thus blocking rotation of the last one without prevention of rotation of half-pinion, and at the moment of torque transfer through pairs teeth of driven half-pinion those engage with teeth of driving pinion. Driven pinions are rigidly fixed on output shaft with shift of cut part of one pinion relative to cut part of another half-pinion by 180 degrees with respect to axis of rotation of output shaft.
