A motor protector apparatus having current-limit characteristic is provided to interrupt an accident current by using an electronic contact device and an over load sensor and to limit the accident current by using PTC resistance and shunt resistance. A motor protector apparatus having current-limit characteristic includes a current limiter, a plurality of electronic contact devices(130,230,330), and a plurality of over load sensors(140,240,340). The current limiter includes a first resistor and a second resistor, which are connected to each other in parallel to interrupt and limit an accident current. When an operation signal according to an input of the accident current is inputted to the electronic contact devices(130,230,330) open an electric path. The over load sensors(140,240,340) output an operation signal according to sensing of the accident current to the electronic contact devices(130,230,330). The current limiter limits the accident current according to a trip operation of the first resistor.
