A hand-free device and a method of locking doors of a vehicle are provided to prevent the doors from being unnecessarily locked by remote-controlling the doors of the vehicle using a hand-free device. A method of locking/unlocking doors comprises the step of transmitting a first radio frequency signal from an embedded unit of a vehicle(1). A second frequency signal is transmitted from an identifying unit(2) in response to the first radio frequency signal. A third radio frequency signal is transmitted if the first radio frequency signal is not received within an expected time. The identifying unit measures the radio frequency field intensity received in a frequency domain of the first radio frequency signal. When the expected first radio frequency is not received, if the radio frequency field intensity exceeds a threshold value, the third radio frequency signal is not transmitted.
