A system and a method for providing a customized menu are provided to enable a user easily to receive the customized menu suitable for diet, weight/health enhancement, and disease prevention improvement by considering disease history or living habit of the user. A menu providing server(10) includes a database(20) storing nutrient/calorie information of food materials, a communicator(12), a controller(13), and an I/O(Input/Output) part(14) providing an interface with the user. A user terminal is connected to the menu providing server through the network, receives information from the user, and outputs a result received from the menu providing server. The menu providing server determines a daily intake of glucose, nutrient, and calorie of the user based on purpose/information received from the user terminal, and provides the proper customized menu to the user. The database stores the information related to kinds and cooking methods of the food material classified into each disease or constitution. |
