METHOD FOR CONTROLLING REVERSE CHANNEL RATE IN CELLULAR MOBILE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM AND SYSTEM THEREOF

<p>A reverse transmission rate control method in a cellular mobile communication system and a system therefor are provided to enable a base station having multiple input/output antennas to generate an IAB(Interference Availability Bit) by considering interference only of a particular region and to conduct a beamforming process, thereby efficiently controlling a reverse transmission rate. A base station comprises as follows. A multiplexer(407) generates symbols by configuring interference control information and pilots for demodulating the interference control information, according to each beam. A beamformer(409) sets weights of the symbols according to each beam. An IFFT(Inverse Fast Fourier Transform) unit(411) conducts an IFFT process to receive and transmit a beamformed signal.</p>
