Woven welt strip is proposed, with cotton yarn in warp and polyamide threads in weft. Structure of strip is made by interweaving on the wrap of broken reinforced serge 2/2, this consists of two parts, in left part diagonals of twill weave are directed from left to right, and in right part -from right to left, there warp threads have only twin and single overlap and form strong and stable structure. At that ratio of linear density of warp thread (tex) and linear density of weft threads is within 2.1:1, and ratio of density of weft threads per 1 cm and linear density of warp threads is 1:4.1.
