An assembly-type roof for a water tank is provided to prevent propagation of bacteria in the summer and to prevent snow from being piled up and frozen on the upside of the water tank in winter by inclining the upper side of the water tank. In a large, middle, or small assembly-type roof for a water tank having a flat upside, oblique fixing plates(6,6') are as big as the upside of the water tank. Connecting plates(7,7') fix the lower ends of the oblique fixing plates and a bent part(19). Inclined surfaces(5) are formed at both sides of the fixing plates by installing plural assembling panels(3) to the oblique fixing plates. Support connecting bars(9,9') having insertion holes(12) are fixed between the bent part of the oblique fixing plate and the connecting plate. For the middle and small water tank, through-holes(18) for installing an opening and closing door and a ventilating opening are formed at the assembly-type roof and the roof is installed on the upside of the water tank. For the large water tank, a load reinforcing bar(8) is inserted into the insertion holes and then mounted on the large water tank. The load reinforcing bar protruded outward through the insertion holes of the connecting bar is fitted and hung to insertion concave groove units(11) of supports(10) of the load reinforcing bar.
