The invention relates to a torsional vibration damper, particularly a split flywheel, comprising an input part, which can be connected in a rotationally fixed manner to the drive shaft of an internal combustion engine, and comprising an output part, which can rotate relative to the input part against the resistance of a first energy storage device and of a second energy storage device that is connected in parallel to the first energy storage device. In order to vibrationally isolate irregularities occurring during the operation of the internal combustion engine, the second energy storage device comprises a number of energy storage elements that, at different locations, are coupled to the output part while distributed over the periphery.
