<p>The invention aims at providing a filled resin composition which exhibits rigidity and flame retardance and which is suitable for the fixing frame of snap-fit structure for flat-panel displays; and fixing frames for flat-panel displays. The invention relates to a resin composition characterized by comprising (i) an aromatic polycarbonate resin (A) in a specified proportion, (ii) at least one flaky silicate mineral (B) selected from the group consisting of talc (B-1) having a mean particle diameter of 0.5 to 9Vm and muscovite mica (B-2) having a mean particle diameter of 0.5 to 50Vm, (iii) a fluorine-containing anti-dropping agent (C) and (iv) an alkali or alkaline earth metal salt (D) of an organosulfonic acid and by being to be used for the fixing frame for flat-panel displays which has at least one projection, hole, or groove for snap-fitting; and fixing frames for flat-panel displays which are made from the composition.</p> |
