A vehicle shock absorber for promoting heat emission is provided to effectively discharge heat in the process of absorbing the shock and the vibration on a vehicle by providing a base shell with a portion having an enlarged heat dissipation area. A vehicle shock absorber for promoting heat emission includes an inner tube(10), a piston rod(20), a piston valve(30), and a base shell(40). The inner tube(10) is filled with a fluid. The piston rod(20) is installed in the inner tube(10) such that the piston rod(20) operates upward and downward. The piston valve(30) is coupled to the piston rod, and vertically operates in a state in which the inner tube is divided into a rebound chamber and a compression chamber. The base shell(40) is installed at the outside of the inner tube(10) to form a reservoir chamber for compensating the pressure of the compression chamber. The base shell(40) has a cylindrical part and a dissipation part having a dissipation area greater than an area of the cylindrical part.
