摘要 <p>#CMT# #/CMT# The method involves supplying a hydraulic circuit with pressurized air for ensuring pressure increase (P) in the circuit and cutting the supply of the pressurized air. A pressure drop is measured in the circuit for detecting air leakage between an outer wall of a pipe (6) and an inner wall of a receiving inlet (9). A recess is provided in an annular support part at an end of the pipe so that contact of the pipe thrust against a shoulder of the inlet is not sealed. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Used for controlling sealing between a hydraulic fluid transport pipe and a receiving inlet belonging to a hydraulic device to which the pipe is connected for verifying the presence of a O-ring seal between a tubular external wall of the pipe and a tubular internal wall of the receiving inlet, during mounting of an hydraulic assisted steering for a motor vehicle(claimed). #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The recess is provided in the annular support part at an end of the pipe so that the contact of the pipe thrust against the shoulder of the inlet is not sealed, thus ensuring presence of good positioning of the O-ring seal and avoiding air leakage between the walls.
