The film has a detachment layer (2) arranged between a support layer (1) and multilayer film (9) for detaching the layer (1) from the film (9) during transfer of a mark. An adhesive layer (7) extends opposite to the film. The multilayer film has a portion opposite to the layer (7) and separated from its adjacent portions, which are not opposite to the layer (7), during the transfer of the mark. The layer (7) is arranged opposite to a portion of a printed image of an optical layer (5), and the image portion forms a pattern from the mark to be transferred on a substrate to be secured (10). Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a method for fabricating a mark transferring film (2) a method for transferring a mark on a substrate to be protected.
