PLASMA DISPLAY APPARATUS

A plasma display apparatus is provided to reduce the number of switches in a sustain driver by adjusting an operation timing of the sustain driver. A plasma display apparatus includes a display panel, a sustain voltage output unit(540), and a voltage conversion supply unit(530). The display panel includes a sustain electrode(Z). The sustain voltage output unit is turned on during a sustain bias voltage supply period to output a sustain voltage(Vs). The voltage conversion supply unit converts the output sustain voltage from the sustain voltage output unit to a sustain bias voltage smaller than the sustain voltage and supplies the sustain bias voltage to the sustain electrode.
