摘要 A low-loss Mn-Zn ferrite characterized in that it contains Fe, Mn and Zn as main components, Co, Ca and Si as first accessory components and at least one Group Va metal as a second accessory component; and that providing that the total amount of main components is 100 mol%, the content of Fe in terms of Fe2O3 is in the range of 53 to 56 mol%, the content of Zn in terms of ZnO is in the range of 1 to 9 mol% and the balance consists of Mn; and that on a mass basis relative to the total amount of main components, the content of Co in terms of Co3 O4 is in the range of 500 to 5000 ppm, the content of Ca in terms of CaCO3 is = 2, and the content of Ta among the Group Va metals in terms of Ta2O5 is >= 250 ppm; and that the low-loss Mn-Zn ferrite has an average crystal grain diameter of = 1 7 m, exhibiting a power loss (Pcv), as measured at a frequency of 2 MHz, a magnetic flux density of 25 mT and 0 to 120°C, of <= 350 kW/m3.
