RECORDING SHEET FOR INK JET PRINTING

A recording paper for an ink jet printer is provided to secure good quality of an image by using nano crystals and to cut down the manufacturing cost by using nano porous silicon dioxide. A recording paper for an ink jet printer has at least two ink receiving layers coating the upside of a support body. Each ink receiving layer consists of a binder, at least one nano crystal, and nano porous silicon dioxide. The ink receiving layer positioned next to the support body contains nano porous silicon dioxide having the positively charged surface. The ink receiving layer far apart from the support body contains the nano crystal and nano porous aluminum oxide/hydroxide. The nano porous silicon dioxide having the surface electrified with positive charge has the first mean particle size of 20nm at maximum. The aluminum oxide/hydroxide has the first mean particle size of 5~15nm.
