An electronic photo frame display device and a display method using the same are provided to freely display desired image information in a local area of an indoor space. An image data receiving unit(201) receives JPEG(Joint Photographic Experts Group) digital image data compressed at a certain rate by wireless. An image data demodulating unit(202) demodulates the image data and converts the image data into analog image data. A decoder unit(204) decodes the analog image data. A display unit(206) displays the decoded image data. A control unit(203) controls the operation of the image data receiving unit(201), the decoder unit(204), and the display unit(206).
