<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light source apparatus which has a discharge tube emitting light by making electric discharge in thin gas and a display device, in which uniformity of luminance and reliability are improved. <P>SOLUTION: The light source apparatus is composed of a discharge tube 31, a reflector 45 to reflect a light emitted from the discharge tube, a first and second spacers 46A, 47A fixed on the reflector 45 and supporting the discharge tube 31. The first spacer 46A holds an electrode terminal position of the discharge tube 31 and the second spacer 47A holds a wire harness 36 to be connected with the discharge tube 31, and moreover, a low heat conductive member 41C is filled in a space surrounded by the first spacer 46A, the second spacer 47A and the reflector 45. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
