<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aberration correcting device which simplifies the alignment of the optical axes of a first aberration correction means composed of a lens and a second aberration correction means composed of a liquid crystal element, achieves highly accurate aberration correction, is excellent in assemblability to an optical pickup device and is suitable for playing back a high capacity optical disk. <P>SOLUTION: The aberration correcting device comprises the first aberration correction means of a collimator lens 4 and a lens driving device 10 composed of a lens sliding part 11 and a power part 15 and a second aberration correction means composed of a liquid crystal assembly 5 including the liquid crystal element 20 and a liquid crystal holder 6, and the first aberration correction means and the second aberration correction means are loaded on one base body 2 and unitized. Thus, since the first aberration correction means and the second aberration correction means are unitized, the optical axes of the two aberration correction means are aligned and the aberration correction device of highly accurate aberration correction and excellent assemblability is provided. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
