<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transflective color filter substrate capable of providing high reflectance and further brightness. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter substrate is manufactured as follow: a pedestal layer 31 having a prescribed thickness is formed on a transparent substrate 20; a metal reflection film 32 is formed on the pedestal layer 31; a transparent layer 33 is disposed on the metal reflection film 32 in order to protect a surface located on the opposite side to the transparent substrate 20 of the metal reflection film 32; the transparent layer 33, the metal reflection film 32 and the pedestal layer 31 are patterned with the same pattern; a transmission part (A) deprived of them and a reflection part (B) as a stacked layer structure of them are formed; and, thereafter, a color filter is disposed over the transmission part (A) and the reflection part (B). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
